for the ceremony and- traditional
wedding music was played by the
aunt of the bridegroom, Zdrs.

Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a tradit-
ional white floor-lengh gown or
Italian peau faille, ta.sh.ioned with.
a scoop neckline outlined with
Chantilly lace, lily-point sleeves
and an enwire bodice. _The same
lace accentuated the trout of the
controlled skirt. A lace appliqued
pill-box held her tour-tiered illus-
ion veil, She carried a crescent
bequet of pink Delight roses and
ivy.

Scott, Seaforth, were brides-
maids dressed in rose seta peau
street-length dresses styled with
bell skirts with self trim. They
wore matching rosette hats with
circular veils and carried cresc-
ent boquets of white pomp=
ehrysasithemumS. Best man was
Gordon Gross, RR, 1, Aubarn,
brother of the bride, and the us-
hers were Ronald Gross and.
'Clayton Gross; brothers of the
bride.
Following the ceremony a re-
ception took place in the Sunday
school room of Knox United
Church, Auburn, where Mrs.
Harold Gross, RR 1, Auburn,
sister-in-law of the bride, re-
ceived guests wearing a royal blue
double-knit suit, brown acees-
sories and a corsage of pale pink
carnations. She was assisted_ by
the bridegroom's who wore a
figured copper-color silk dress,
gold accessories, and a corsage
of Golden Chalice roses.
For a• wedding trip to Nerthern
Ontario, the bride donned a
three-piece double suit and wore
gold and brown accessories and II
corsage of Golden Chalice root*
The couple will reside on the
farm of the bridegreoni at RA' S,
Walton.

Third Meeting
The third meeting of Wei
Brussels 4-H Homemaking Club
"The Glub Girl Stands on Guarof'
was held at Mrs. Wheeler'S horne
on. August 16th at 7 p.m.
The meeting was opened with
the4- H Pledge followed by the

There was a discussion on me
First. Aid Kits.. Group work was
on. Posture and First, Aid.
Mrs. .i\ohn Kelly gave a very,
interesting talk on First Aid.
Rosemary Blake thanked Mrs.
Kelly and Laurel Hemingway
presented her with a small gift.
Notes were Men discussed.
The meeting was Wised. with,
"Q Canada". Lunch was served,
after the closing.
Fourth Meeting.
The foUrth meeting of the'
Brussels Cautious Canucka was
held• on Friday; October 23rd, at
7 p.m. at Mrs. 'Wheeler's home.
The meeting was opened with
the4- H Pledge followed by the
roll call which was "A defeat in
my posture."
Suggestions were made for the
club exhibit for Achievement Day.
Gale Wilson was secretary and
press reporter for this meeting.
The leader deinostrated on
taking a sainple of Water and
first aid on burns. Gerda Fag
Ann, Exel and Gale Wilson dem-
onstrated postUre.
Group work was on posture and
first aid with all mehiberti taking
part.
Notes were discussed and the
