A Meeting of- the Western
Section of Maitland Presbyterial,
of the W, M. 5, of the Presby-
terian Church in Canada, was
held in Ripley Presbyterian
Church on October 21st, with Mrs.
T, English, Wingham, in the chair.
The meditations were given by
Mrs. 3. Reid and Mrs, Ft, B.
Oromey of Kincardine and Mrs.
1W. Henderson, Lucknow. 441-40Von
as their theme was chosen from
1st, John, Chapter 34. Our aim is
"The World for Christ". Christ is
as deeply concerned with each
individual now as he was in the
past and shall be in the future.
The Treasurer's report as Pre-
sented by Mrs. D. R. Mackenzie,
Lucknow, was encouraging,
Mrs, Ross MacMillan, S. Kinloss,
in telling of the. Woman's Camp
at IRintail, showed how` much wal-
gained from the fellowship and
Christian meditation enjoyed
there.
Mrs. Day, Wingham, gave an
ineresting talk on Evening Aix-
Waxy work, after which Mrs. Don.
McDonald, Ripley, welcomed all
present.
Mrs. D. Graham, S. Kinloss, led
its the Offertory Prayer, after
which Mrs. Robt. McAllister,
Dungannon, introduced the guest
speaker, Re*, N. Meliombie, who
in using Mark Chapter 2, verses
explained the kinds of
Fellowship - that practised by
Paul, - practical sharing, that of
doing - Men will be brought tr..
Christ by action - that of the
Church - does Christ see our
faith in what we are doing?
A duet sung by Mrs. B. Feagan
and Mrs. J. Day of Wingham, was
enjoyed by all.
