BREWING COMPETITION Annuaiy in London the Brew- lag, Bottling and Allied Trades stage en exhibition devoted to the products and equipment of the brewing industry. In addition to , displays or technical equipment, competitions are held which are open to brewers in the United ,Kingdom and throughout the British Commonwealth. M the recent exhibition held earlier this month, Carling Breweries won :2 major awards in the British. Commonwealth pottled Weer competition and. was the only brewery in Canada to do so. Competing against some 140 beers produced by brewers from some 20 Common- wealth countries, as well as with those of other breweries In Canada, Carling Old Country Ale was awarded the Brewers Guardian. Challenge Cup, silver medal and diploma for the best bottled beer in the competition. It is a product of Carling Breweries in British Columbia.
