To Walton UCW met in Duff's
United Church basement, Mrs.
Clifford Ritchie. presided over
the „devotional period, with Mrs.
Martin Haan at, the piano.
Mrs, Bean read scripture, and
Mrs. Roy Williamson led in
prayer. Mrs. James Clark read a,
poem; and the Christian citizen-
ship and social action convenor,
Mrs. Clifford Ritchie, read a
short item.
Mrs, Arthur Higginbotham took
over for the business, The min-
utes were read. by Mrs. Camp-
bell Wey. Delegates to the reg-
ional convention of Huron Pres-
byterial TICW are Mrs. Gordon
1VIeGavin and Mrs. Nelson Marks.
The corresponding secretary,
Mrs. Herbert Traviss read the
correspondence. The steward-
ship and recruiting secretary,
Mrs Andrew Coutts, read an
article on stewardship; and the
treasurer's report was given by
Mrs. Kenneth McDonald.
The following appointments
were made for the fowl supper
