The October meeting, and
annual bake sale was held at the
home of Mrs. Rae Houston on
October 6th.
Mrs. 'Clarence Martin opened
the meeting with hymn 559.
Scripture reading, psalm 95. Mrs.
Jan Van Vliet sang a solo "He".
Mrs. Martin led in prayer.
Mrs. Alvin McDonald gave a
Reading on "Thanksgiving" by
Dr. V. T. Mooney also a reading.
by Padre Young "Religion and
Life".
Minutes were read and the
Roll Call was answered by naming
our guest.
Mrs.Bolger conducted the bus-
iness. Nov. 10 Thankofferiag at
Walton, Mrs. Scott, Seaforth to
be gust speaker. Invitations,
from Winthrop, Oct. 28 Bazaar '
and Tea. Burns 'Church, "get. 21 ,
were, read. Lists were given.
out for the Fowl Supper on Nov. 4.
Glenna. Houston played two
piano selections. Hymn 562 was
sung and the meeting closed with
prayer.
A tine assortment of baking and
vegetables were sold at the bake
table. A delicious lunch was sery
ed .by Mrs. Don McDonald. Mrs.
