motto, Education is the machin-
ery for success while personality
is the oil: Personality is that
quality that makes one person
different from another and edu-
cation is .the training of the.
mental and moral powers by
study and discipline.
The formative years spent in
an atmosphere of love, security
and discipline will develop those
qualities of character which will
smooth his path to success. Tr
the home is quarrelsome and
unhappy and tense the children
will grow up with these bad
traits of character. If parents
forget about the early moulding
of personality development of otir
ehildren that by a good home em-
viroment lay the foundations in
earliest. years, then in a short
time and maybe the
time is now, we will see an age
of irresponsible, unreliable,
adults, and it will be our fault,
not theirs,
Mrs, O. Struthers of Mitchell,
the guest speaker, led in a sing
