eitanged marriage vows in a
ceremony at St, john'S Lutheran
Church, Hesson.
The Rev. Alfred Wedtnan
officiated, The church was dec-
orated with pots of yellow and
white mums.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. Ross Engel,
Brussels and the groom is tjao
son of Mr, and Mrs. Almer Voil
of R, R, 3, Listowel.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a street-
lexigh dress of white organza
over taffeta. lit featured at full
skirt with fitted bodice,• Inigh
scoot. tinckline, and short sleeves
with an appliqued hew accenting
the waist. A crystal tiara held her
veil of nylon tulle. She carried a
cascading boquet of red roses
and stephanotis with white
streamers knotted, with stephan-
otis and Cern.
.Miss Gayle Engel of Brussels,
sister of the bride, was maid of
honour, She wore a street-length
gown of pink nylon over taffeta
and carried a boquet of white
and pink carnations with stream-
ers.
Murray Coulter, R,R. 3, List-
owe', was best man and Mrs, Ken,
Beattie of Hesson was organist,
Following the wedding cere-
mony a reception was held in
the home of the bride's sister
and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Campbell. Orant, Listowel.
For a trip to Niagara and the
United Seates, the bride
changed to a white sheath dress
with red accessories
The couple will reside near
Listowel.

William Edgar Hollinger of
Fruitland, formerly of Brussels,
passed away in the Hamilton.
General Hospital on July 22nd,
in his 61st year.
He was the son of the late Mr.
'awl Mrs. Jacob Hollinger of Grey
Township.
He leaves to mourn his loss,
his wife, the former Mary
Pollard and two children. Charles
of Fruitland and Marie .at home:
also two n,randchildren , Debbie.
and Ricky.
The funeral was held from the
Donald V. Brown funeral home,
Stoney Creek, on Saturday con-
ducted by the Rev, M. Clark of
St. Mary's Anglican Church,
The Pallbearers were Clarence
Hollinger, Kenneth Pollard, Don-
ald Perrie, Gerald Xerowac,
Steve Polyakovics:' Buddy Spat-
azgio.
Interment was in. Fifty Ceme-
tery,
A large number of relatives
from Brussels area attended the
funeral.

cussed and it was decided it
would be a one day affair. The

The roil earl brought out many
suggestions to be used at the
show. :One being that each
member make an exhibit. Also
that a sale table and a tea room
be part of the Flower Show, and
that the public be asked to take
advantage of this and so support
the society.
Mrs. E. Cudmore gave the
report of the Convention held in
Guelph.
Mrs. Stephens introduced the
guest speaker. Miss Luella
Johnston, of Olinton. who spoke
of the "Does and Don'ts" of floral
arriinging. Many beautiful
arrsngemenns were shown and
discussed. There were arrange-
ments using many flowers, some,
using two or three.
Miss ,I'Ohnson was thanked
and nresented with a gift,

Cudmore were each presented
with a gift for helping with

Mrs, Walter Kerr won the door
prize,

ing.
