in the Commons on Monday what
increase in unemployment would
be needed to get him to scrap his
11-percent sales tax on constructs

Church, Winthrop, which was
decorated with basketa of; sum-
mer flowers.

'at the ceremony and Mrs, John.
Henderson, Seaforth, presided
at the organ for traditional wed-
ding maitic, accompanying Miss
Dianne Henderson, Seaforth, in
her solos, "0 Perfect Love"
and "Wedding Prayer."
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride Wore a gown of
crystalline brocade with full
folded skirt. The organza top
was styled with a scooped neck-
line and lilypoint sleeves. Her
coronet headress held her
shoulder-length veil and she
carried a white Bible crested
with a mauve orchid.
Mrs. Ronald McAllister of
Seaforth, was matron of honor
and the bridesmaids were Miss'
Meryl Wesenburg, Brussels,
sister of the bridegroom, and
Miss Marie Scott, Seaforth,
sister of the bride, All three
attendants wore a pale blue
crystalline satin sheath dress
with matching full organza over.

organza frocks, and carrying a

brother of the bridegroom.
A reception in the church
parlour followed the wedding

changed to a green, floral,
sheath dress, matching duster
coat, white accessories, and a
corssage of mauve orchids.
The couple will reside in
Seaforth.

held a meeileg to plan for build,

corner of Lot 20, Con. 12, Ore,'
Township, It was to be a frame
building 3() ft, x 40ft. They sub-
sorted sums of money, which
were to be paid, half on, or
before, the first day of December
1874, the balance on, or before,
the first C? December, 1875. The
following settlers contributed, to
the first church, which was
known as. Whitfield's. Church.

Three lives were claimed in a
tragic two-car crash two Mlles
west of Walton on county road
25, between McKillop and Millet
townships on Saturday.
Dead are William, Gorden Dodd,
28, and Allen James Graig 27,
both of Auburn, and Winnifred
Griffiths, 19, of Wroxeter.
Larry B. Redden, 21, of I'M.
2, Atwood, is in Victoria Hospital,
London, with extensive head and
chest injuries and two broken
legs.
OPP Constable D, A. Bowering
wbo investigated the accident
said it occurred at 12.15 a.m, on a
straight stretch of paved road.
The accident was discovered by
Gerald Watson, who summoned
doctors and Police.
Investigation is continuing. No'
deeision .has been taken regarding-
an inquest.

above mentioned appointments

was carried that the Whitfield
