I really shoved my neck out
When 1 asked for cards and
letters, Over 100 cards and
a dozen letters. I am very grate-
ful to all.. .1 have pipes, cigars,
tobacco, enough to last me until
the Fairs start in Sepember.
Letters were from Winnipeg,
Saskatoon, Calgary (Dr.. Myers'
family), Toronto and as far east
as Fredericton, one from Niagara
Falls (Allan McCra.e.kin V. S.),
an old Morrisite. All I can say is
Thank You:, Thank Yeti: L am.
grateful to the Legion, the
I.O.O.F., the Anglican Guild and
many others. My trouble is now
I cannot write unkind words
about anyone. I think it unfair
that Grenke, Elbe', and Lamont;
would take advantage of my ill-
ness, the bible mentions some-
thing about kindness, heaping
coals of fire on my head, etc.,

A certain nurse, don't even know,
her name, but I think she is a
Russian. She always carried that
old needle like a bayonet. She
would charge me from about
five feet and it hit, me anywhere
