Brussels enited Charch was
the scene of a rainbow wedding
en Saturday afternoon May, 30th,

Wheeler, only dagghter of Mr.
and MTS. John Wheeler of Brus-
sels was united in marriage to
Murray Barnard Johnston, son
of Mr. and Mrs, Sperling John-
ston, of Blttevale. Rev., Allan,
(Johnston performed the double
ring ceremony. The church was;•
decorated with yellow tulips and
white spiraea.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose an Eliza-
beth Anne gown of 'Peen De Sole
with fitted bOdice featuring a
scooped neckline. The dress was
appliqued with French lace and
had a full flowing skirt with
back emphasis ending in a
chapel train. She wore a bouffan,
veil with a jeweried tiara. She
carried a cascade of yelloW
roses with green ivy,
Mrs, Donald Achilles of
Walton, was matron of honour

of blue organza, fashioned with a
bell skirt and a flying back panel,
She wore matching headress,
glov'es and shoes, and carried
a cascade of Shasta daisies.
The brides,maids were Miss
Shirley Johnston, sister of the
groom, who chose a similar pink
dress with matching headress
and accessories and Mrs. Robert
Thompson of Wingham wearing
a similar yellow dress with
matching headress and acces-
sories. They carried cascades of
shasta daisies. ,
The flower girl,- Miss Carol
Wheeler, cousin of the bride,
wore a white nylon dress with
matching blue, pink and yellow
flowers on, the dress. She wore
a matching white headress,
gloves and shoes and carried
shasta daisies.
Murray Wheeler, cousin of the
bride, was ring bearer.
Mr. Hen. Johnston, brother of
the groom, was best man and:
ushers were Mr. Glen Johnston,
brother of the groom and Mr.
David Wheeler, brother of the
bride.
Mrs. Carl Johnston, BInevale,
was organist. Mrs. Nell McGavin,
Walton, sang. "The Wedding
Prayer" and "I'll Walk Beattie
You".
The reception was held in the
church parlour. The bride's Moth-
er chose a French Blue linen
jacket dress with matching blue
hat and gloves and White Shoes.
And purse, She Wore 11 corenge
of white mina feathereci with
pink.

Graduation ceremonies were
held Friday evening, May 22nd,,
in Thames Hall at Western
University, London, ,.or the 88
graduates of the Victoria School
of Nursing.
'Miss Yvonne Pollare, daughter
of Mr. and. Mrs. George Pollard,
was one of the graduating nurses.
The Student Nurses' group of
the Women's Auxiliary of Vic-
toria School of Nursing 'enter-
tained the graduates and their
guests atea tea in the afternoon
in the hospital auditorium.
After ,the graduation cere-
monies Mr. and '1VIes. Pollard
entertained 25 of Yvonne's
friends and relatives at the
home of her aunt, Miss Ada

interesting talk on Salvation.
