there on ;Wednesday, April 15th..
Born in Lardley, Quebec, he
moved to Rossland, B. C. in, 1E45
where he was a mining black-
smith. In 1896 he joined the CPB.
at Nelson, B.C. in. 1905 he work-.
ed for Hydro Plant at Nelson.
In 1900 lie went to. Moosejaw as
bead blacxsuntli for the ,CPR and
retired in 1938. In 1941 he started
a business in Brussels and was
also a resident of the 14th con-
cession of Grey Township, Later
he returned to the Moosejaw,
district where he has since lived.
He was a member of KLI.Oac Pres-
byterian Church and a long time
member of the Independent Order
of Oddfellowa.
Predeceased by his wife, the
former Charlott Stewart of Grey
Township, in 1955 and a son.
Calvin in 1963, he is survived by
one daughter, Mrs. Malcolm
(Lucy) Keay of the Moosejaw
district, one grandson. Jim, et
Saskatoon, three great grand-
children and one brother, David
of Ottawa.
Funeral service was conducted
in Broa.dfoot Funeral Chapel on
