Xne$: Cartgreestionat Meeting The annual congTegational meeting of Knox Presbyterian Church qranbrook, was pre. ceeded by a pot-luck supper in the basement of the church on Tuesday evening, February 4th. The Rev. 'Wfl J. Morrison, Brus- sels, interim-moderator, opened the meeting with a devotional period. Mr, Edwin G. Nelson was ariPelnted chairman and Alfred L. Knight secretary, During the past year 12 were received into main- i bership, two members died, leav- lug a total of 90 members on the roll, an increase of 10 over the preceeding year. AU manly- ; ations reported a successful year 1 with an increase in givings. A number of improvements were I accomplished during the year in- eluding new cupboards in the manse,, levelling and gravell- ing a parking space and an oll- burning furnace in the church, Three retiring managers, jack Knight, Alex Cameron and Mao i Engel were replaced by David. I Perrie, Leslie Knight and Gordon Engel for a term of three years. I Kenneth MacDonald and David Perrie were re-appointed ushers, I with Jack Knight and Joe Smith 1 assistants. Also re-elected were Mrs. Stuart Mchlair, organist, Mrs. Mac Engel, secretary-treas- urer and Alfred L. Knight • auditor, Following the meeting I crokinole was played.
