MARCH OF DIMES
CAMPAIGN, HERE FEB. 3
The province-wide goal of the
IViarch of Dimes for 1964 is
$780,090. This goal is set by the
amount required in the coming
year to meet the essential needs
of the disabled people served
by the Rehabilitation Foundation
for the Disabled.
Plans are being made to expand
the Rehabilitation Centre in
London that would serve this
area.
It costs appyoximately $50,000
a year to operate such a centre
and there are ten of them in
Ontario.
The Marching Mothers of Brus-
sels, sponsored by the Home and
School. Association, are out to see
that every disabled, person in
this district will get a proper
chance at life and they hope the
citizens will support their efforts.
You are asked to kindly leave
your porchlight on between 7
and 8 o'clock on 11,Tionday night
Feb. 3rd.
