Scott of Seaforth has been selected .by the Ontario Plowman's AssoCiat, •lation for the site of the 19G6 international Plowing Match to be held in Huron County. Bagg, Department of Agriculture, Tor- onto, Treasurer, Clark Young of Unionville, Alex MaKinney;, Brampton Director of O.P.A., President of Canadian Plow- ing Council and vice-chairman of the World Plowing Organ- ization and Director Kett Bawden, St. Thomas made the selection of the site after tonring, five sites suggested by the local site comimittee ,of Oh airman, Roy' "A,dairc.1'7'ingham;. Other sites viewed by the': committee were in the Grand; Bend area in Stephen .Town- ship; Da.sbwoocl in Hay Town- ship; and an area south of Prucefield in Tuchersrnith Town- ship and an area West of Wrox- eter in Turnberry Township, The committee indicated that the Scott fartn in MeRillop Township immediately north-west of the town of. Seatorth was most dapta,ble to the requirements' for staging the large inter- national PloYeng .Match.
