Second Meeting •
The second meeting of the
Cranbrook Custardettes was held
on Wednesday, Septettuber 18th,
191.13, at 1.15, at. the home of: the
leader, Mrs, Knight.
The meeting was opened with
the 41-H Pledge foldlowed by the
minutes whilch Sharon Fischer
read. The roll Gall was answered,
'with the girl's name, address,
birtllate, lot, concession, and
&titer's 'halms. A discussion
1#ag held on a club name and
front the many suggestions the
name chosen was Custardettes.
The demonstrations were next:
1. Mrs. Strickler demonstrated
pasteurizing milk at home;
2. Mrs, Knight demonstrated;
making cocoa.
3. Mrs. Knight and several
girls Made Maple Fizz.
The next meeting will be held
on Wednesday, September 25 at
7:15 p.m. at the home of Mrs.
Knight. Damude, •this Home
Economist will visit the club.
`Covers were talked about and
it was decided to use plastic
covers with, black paper and
yellow felt. lettering,
The rule for milk was gone
over. Notes were then done On
the outline sheets.
Mrs. Knight read a closing
poem called "Neighbours".
