LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Dear Sir:
,uow often it has bowl said

remark has nearly become au
adage applicable to many totk of.
our day and age,

vinced they are just as good, if
not better than tne peopde within
the (hunch, yet- when a baby
comes into the family there is
great concern to have the child,

enthusiasm shown ).vaea were

ocassion is the means of showing
the 'respectability' of the family.

How often tats sentiment
Creeps into the sanctuary and
portrays itself in the form of,
poor manners. For instance at
the wedding service, which is a
service of worship asking God's
blesSing upon man and wife as
they set out to establish their
home, the pastor of the parish is
sometimes 'completely ignored
or is merely asked' to assist a

ment almoSt invariably replaces
the faithful organist by a per-
sonal friend. Why?' Sentiment
fails to see that the pastor and
organist of the church, for in-
stance, have' been counted able,
tto lead the congregation in the
weekly worship services of
Prayer and praise. Since' Sena-
