Best essay written by a school pupil, up to and including Grade 8, 2. Subject: "WHAT OUR FAIR CAN DO FOR TIlE COMMUNITY' 3. Length of Iiissay—approxithately 300 word's. 4, Essay will be certified by a teacher that it is the work of the pupil, 5: Contest will be in three sections as follows: . Local—L.Each Agricultural Society will be responsible for en- couraging pupils to enter by announcing this contest in this year's prize list or by other means and if feasible, offering prizes for the best essay received. Following judging the WINNING ESSAY mist be submitted by the Society to the Woman Representa- tive of the O.A.A.S. for the district not later than THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th. Name, address and age ' of pupil to be on essay. i(b) District—Women Representatives in each of the 16 districts of the O.A.A.S. will be required to arrange the judging of all essays received and send the WINNING ESSAY to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Women's Section— Mrs. G. IL Ironside, RR 1. Georgetown, by MONDAY; DECEMBER 2nd, 1963, Only ONE ESSAY May be submitted from each district and must have been the winner at a fair in the district.
