LETTER TO THE EDITOR
I was rather amused when I
read in your paper of the good
response to the Artificial ice
project, might say its a lone
way off the ;15000 mark. Will
Ihe children appreciate it when
done. They will 'likely tear it
apart some night like has been
done at the para. I really think
some of this money could be
-used to do some 'painting at the
park. The poor bleachers are
real thirsty for a paint job, also
the entrance is so rusty von
would wander how it stands up.
But then its like our schools
they call this progress, Then
again don't ask the kids to do
any work it you do be prepared
to pay double what its worth
,or else they won't show up at
all. But come along with those
tree hand outs and they are
all on the job. Then when
Hall - - comes along they tear
the vegetables out of the garden
and even throw stones through
windows. Now I think that this
tanoney could be used to get
'some', employment in Brussels'
and Veep the young people at
home.
