The regular monthly meeting
was held on the SCI11001 June 10,
S.3ii p.m. with all members
present.
Numerous items of interest
,were dismissed. The sale of
U. 5, 5. No. 12 Grey was set for
June 24th, at p.m. 'rho con-
tents including oil furnace, oil
tanks, clock, desks' and bell tO'
be sold separately; the school
property, 10% down and balance
in 30 days.
Messrs. S. Baker and U.
Ms:Laughlin. were present and
discussed a new insurance Policy
with more coverage than our
present one. However it was
decided to carry on with our
present policy, that is each pupil
nas a, coverage of $100 for Allpedi-
cal Aid. ,
The School Board accepted the
resignation of Mrs, Joanna King
and are advertising for a new
music supervisor for Walton
school.
It was deeided to call for oil
Tenders, the -final date being
June 2§.

The Huron County Federa
tion of Agriculture held its
June meeting in Clinton with
chairman Elmer Ireland report-
ing on the various meetings, in-
;chiding the Wingham. Trade
Fain he had attended.
Lloyd Stewart, president of
the Hog Producers, reported on
the 160 gilts distributed to 4-H
club members. He said all but
one gilt was doing well. He
expressed satisfaction at the in-
terest shown, by-the young peo-
ple in hog production.
Alf Warner spoke on the
Swine Producers' meeting he
had attended in Guelph.
• Reports were heard from Em-
inerson Crocker on the hog
marketing plan, Bob McGregor
from the Beef Producers, H. D.
'Woodham from the Cream Pro-
ducers, and Lorne Rodges, the
Fluid Milk report.
Mr. and -Mrs. Thos. Miose
Miilverton, visited on Sunday
with Mrs. Stuart Evans and

Fred Smalldon on Sunday when
about thirty members of their
families were in attendance.

officiated. Vernon Hutchinson,
played the wedding music. Mrs.
lUerald Woppler sang, The Wed-
ding Prayer and 0 Perfect Love.
The bride, given in marriage
by her Lather, wore a full length
gown of Chantilly lace and nylon
ever satin styled with a jewelled
neckline and lily point sleeVes.
Iler embroidered fingertip veil
was caught to a crown of pearls
.Site carried a bonnet of red roses
and stephanotis. Ii
Asiss Joyce Long, i'leshertou,
was maid of honor in pale green
taffeta. Bridesmaids were Mrs,
Ted Rim,1,10 Inwood, and. Miss,
Moary ,Currie, Pricedlle, in yellow,
and mauve. Junior bridesmaids
were Ruth and 'Gladys jermyn,
of Morris Township, twin cousins
of thobride, in pink. ,
A reception was held the.
Desboro Community Centre.
The above wedding is of
interest to many in this area.
The bride is the daughter of the
former Verna Brewer, daughter,
of the late Mr. and. Mrs. Duncan
Brewer.
