One need only visit a hospital and talk to patients with cancer, or to their loved ones, ito realize that. cancer is a terrible diseaSe and. that it's cost in terms of lives and unhappiness can scarcely be imagined. The Canadian Cancer Society is doing all it can to bring about the final defeat of this human scourage. It is fighting cancer, by means of research, which will. one day solve the riddle of ,cancer and show us how to prevent it or cure it.
