GENTLEMEN'S CLUB
NEWS ITEMS
I have been asked by at least
six, sneering. jeering, guffawing
members of a certain society,
why I have not mentioned the
euchre contest between the
Legion and our Gentlemen's
Club, held March 22nd. We were
guests of the Legion on this
unfortunate night and I grudg-
ingly admit we were treated,
with every kindness, a
wonderful reception, 'However
I remembered the massacre of
Sit Dartholamte and bow King

how he invited all the fighting
men of that great clan to spend
and celebrate a night with his
orange boys. The licDonaids were,

stirring and miring the "hootch"
with their fingers, all loaded
with nail polish. The drinks
were on the house so the Scots
really went lo town. After the
4th chortle of a. Wee Dock and
Dort§ they began falling down
like pins in a bowling alley.
'Only one escaned. known as
nlaek Donald McDonald, he bed

to swallow, When he.saw what
going on he took to the, hills
and swan the Irish Sea back to
Scotland. Since that fateful right
the McDonald's have,,voted Grit
mid never offered a drink to an7-

right as they had taken their
bagpipes "wee" their.
