A memorial service for the late
Peter Mizgay was held at the n.
A. Rann 'funeral home, Monday,
March 18th at S p.m. Tuesday,
morning the remains were
removed to the Thorpe funeral
itomo, Brantford, where funeral
service was held at. 2 p.m. Inter-
ment was in Farringdon'
cemetery. The Rev. W. J.
Morrison of Mcli/111e Prehbyter-
II Church conducted both
serViCOS.
Mr. McKay is survived b
several neices and nephews.
MRS. SABINE THOMPSON
Mrs, Sables Thompson, widow
of Louis D. Thompson, BruSsels,
died Wednesday, March, 20th, In
'Winghaln General I•I;ospital,
Mr, and Mrs. Thompson con-
(Noted a school of music at their
home here, and following his
death Mrs. Thompson continued
the teaching of music.
She leaves one sister, Frs.
.1'. W. Elliott of Toronto; and
two nieces.
The funeral service was held
,at ,St. John Anglican Church, of,
which she was a member, at
11 man, on. Friday, The service
was conducted by her minister,
'the Rev. H. L. .Tennings.
Burial took place in St. Jude's
cemetery, Oakville, 'Ont.

Entered into rest on March
a‘rird. 1.068, John Patrick Gaynor,
in his 86th year. Born in 1876 in
Elma Township he farmed
practically all his life on the
10th concession of Grey until
his retirement rte Btaissels 18
years ago. He was. the son of the
late 1-61111 P. Gaynor and Mary
'Travis's. In 1912. January 6th, he
was united in marriage to Mary
Elizabeth .04i op e r who pre-
d ec ea sod him December 6th,
1929.
Left to mourn his loss is one
daughter, (Leona), Mrs Pergue
Connelly and One igrandaughter.

Prus.sels and two Sisters. (Neil)
Mrs. Derby .Nicholaisen. and
(Mayne) Mrs. Daniel Quinn,
of Chicago. Three brothers
Edward, Tem and Dr. jas. Gaynor

Reverand Russell Self M. A.,
has for many years
been a missionary of the Pres-
byterian ChArch in Canada,
in, Oliansi, Central India. Mans!
is in the heart of Hindu. India,;
and has traditionally been
one of the most durable centres
of Indian resistance to outside
influences. It is one of the most
diffieullt missionary districts
in the world,
Mr. Self is a westerner by
birth. having been. born in.
Vanceiwer. His higher education:
however, was taken, in Ontario;
at Toronto Bible College, the
"University of Western Ontario
and finally at Knox College.
From 1947 to 1954 ho was
minister at St. James Church in
Toronto. In the latter year he
a cif: elp i` d a.n .appointment 'to
Than< and has been there ever
since.
:When he first started Work in
India. 'Mr. Self Was a district
missionm.y helping out various
churches whenever they were in
mired of the service of a, minister.
in resent years, he has become
parlicillarly interested in. Christ-
ian literature and. very concerned
that in a country which is rapidly
