A. Rann 'funeral home, Monday, March 18th at S p.m. Tuesday, morning the remains were removed to the Thorpe funeral itomo, Brantford, where funeral service was held at. 2 p.m. Inter- ment was in Farringdon' cemetery. Thompson, BruSsels, died Wednesday, March, 20th, In 'Winghaln General I•I;ospital, Mr, and Mrs. Thompson con- (Noted a school of music at their home here, and following his death Mrs. Thompson continued the teaching of music. A., has for many years been a missionary of the Pres- byterian ChArch in Canada, in, Oliansi, Central India. Mans! is in the heart of Hindu. India,; and has traditionally been one of the most durable centres of Indian resistance to outside influences. It is one of the most diffieullt missionary districts in the world, Mr. Self is a westerner by birth. having been. born in. Vanceiwer. His higher education: however, was taken, in Ontario; at Toronto Bible College, the "University of Western Ontario and finally at Knox College. From 1947 to 1954 ho was minister at St. James Church in Toronto. In the latter year he a cif: elp i` d a.n .appointment 'to Than< and has been there ever since. :When he first started Work in India.
