plans for an amateur night with
more details to be worked out at the
next meeting.
Piano solos were- contributed by
Muni Bronson and 'George Valiance.
Alan Williams, optometrist of
Wingham was 'introduced by the
president and he explained the
defects 'which school children may
have; in their eyesight. He suggested
several symptoms which could be
noticed and warned that lack of
progress in school can often be
caused by defective vision. This was
demonstrated in a film "What's in
Sight" which he showed following
his talk,
A helpful question and answer
period followed and Mr, Williams
received the thanks of the meeting,.

a collection was taken up for the
family of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Jones
whose tragic death took place two
