I Mrs. Fischer, the former Sarah, 1 01-1'31-M1 an. was horn in Howick. erehowing their. marriageeett the I home of her sister, the late Mrs. Geo.4 . Mr. and Mrs. Fischer are members of Melville Presbyterian Church where he is a member of the kirk session and Mrs. Fischer a member of the women's groUps, Mrs. Fischer is also a. Member of Morning Star Rebekah Lodge. POPPY DAY The annual Poppy Campaign of the local branch of the Royal, Canadian Legion will be held on SATURDITAY, NOVEMBER 10th, The success of this campaign, depends on our local citizens, whom we hope will all purchase a lapel poppy from the canvas- ) sees on the street or when they call at your home, The poppy I fund is held in trust for the one I specific purpose of helping ex-1 servicemen, and is kept apart from regular Legion funds, HELP ITS TO HELP THEM The Governor's address was both enlightening and interesting.
