However 'the gloom lightened as we chose six lovely young ladies to be finaliSte in the contest for queen, to be crowned on June,S2nd at the big big- Big dance (Don't forget that date). The finalists are Rosemarie- Kranse, Gail Meehan, Pat Evans,, Nancy McWhirter, Darlene *wharf, and Dianne Hastings. It is sure to be a very close contest.
