held its meeting in the Anglican. •
Church hall on Monday, March 19th
with a splendid attendance. The
meeting opened with the singing of
``O' Canada". Mrs, A. Rann pre-
sided. •
Minutes of the last meeting were
given by Mrs. Ella Shurrie. A
. wonderful response was given to tha
roll call "Why 1 am a member of
the Horticultural Society", Members
were asked to try to get new
members and to bring a visitor to
the meetings,. The next meeting, an
May 21st, will be held - in Walton
when the Walton ladies will be
hostesses.

Ezra 'Nelson 'Welsh, in his 69th
year, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Matyborougb Township,
mOving to this vicinity several,
years ago, having farmed in Grey
and Morris 'Townships before moving
to Brussels.

shortly after 4 pars. Fifteen.

general's department, Toronto, and,

Crown attorney at the inquest
was W. E, Goodwin QC', of Stratford.
