The sectional meeting of the
Watneri's Missionary Society Of
Maitland Presbyterial was held in
Knox Cilturch, CranbroOk, on Thurs-
day, afternoon, Oct. 121, with a large
attendance, Mrs. Alvin Mundell,

Kincardine(, was guest
speaker. A solo was contributed. by
Frank Thompson of Brussels,
am:il-ran-tied on the organ by Miss
A. J. Forrest, Mrs. Win. Speirs
brought highlights of Albert College
Belleville, where. she had spent
,several days as at delegate, At the
close of the meeting, a social time
was enjoyed in the church basement
and refresinrients served by members
of the Oranbrook W.M.S.
Mr. Ed Smalldan, Toledo, and Tom.
Smalldon, St. Thomas, are visiting
with their brother George.
Fig'. and Mrs, Fred Kirkpatrick,
Paul,- Teddy, and Susan, Kitchener,
were calling. .on friends in this Com-
minty, on Sunday.

for the Fall Thankoffering meeting

Oct. 5, The president, Mrs. Stanley
Fischer, presided and Mrs. E. G.
Nelson led in prayer, A story "Evey-
day Thanksgiving" and a poem
'Keeping. Thanksgiving" was read
by ,Mrs. Mtac Engel, • The Evening
Auxiliary were guests and a solo was
contributed by Mirs: Ken. MacDonald,
accompanied by Miss A. J, Forrest
Mrs. Wm. Speir, Brussels, was guest
-speaker, and gave a most interest-
ing report on her time at Albert
.0ollege, Bellville, as a delegate
from 'Maitland Presbyterial. The
Speaker was thanked by Mrs. John.
Perrie and presented with a flower-
ing plant as a token .of appreciation,.
The lunch committee assisted Mrs.
Knight in serving refreshments.
