riculture activities. He has
been Director of Information
for the Canadian Federation
since September, 1958.
Only son of a purebred Here-
ford breeder, Bob worked with
his father on the farm until
1949 when till health caused him
to seek another type of work,
He joined CKNX, Wingham, On-
tario's farm station, early in

and' fartri programs.

HURONVIEW LADIES' AUXILIARY
PLANS 11 4 APPEARANCE
The March meeting of Huron
'County Ladies' Auxiliary to
Buronview was held Monday in
'the waft room of Huronview,
Clinton, with 22 members. pres-
ent from Auburn, Blyth, Clin-
ton and Goderich.
In commenting on the treas-
urer's report, Mrs. Fred Thomp-
son, the president, stated: "The
auxiliary is not necessarily a.
money-making .organization, but
rather bring pleasure and com-
fort to .the residents." Mrs.
Harvey Johnston, craft director,
reported: "The residents have
been dl::'`;;makieg ,braided,
crocheted and hooked mats, pil-
lowee.es and quilts." Mrs. Gor-
don. Cunninghame reported
three concerts lined up to be
presented shortly at Huron-
view for the residents.
The auxiliary is invited to
participate in the TV prOgram,
"Take Your Choice," on CFPL,
London, Saturday evening, May
5, The invitation was accepted,
and final arrangements will be.

at Huronview.

retary, reported the monthly
birthday partieS for Huronview
residents have been booked by
Huron County Women's Insti-
tute branches up to and includ-
ing the month of July. Easter
greeting cards will again be
sent to each of the residents.
Appreciation was expressed
for the gift of an electric ket-
tle for use - in the craft room
kitchen, from the Almeek Chap-
ter IODE, Goderich. The date
for the annual anniversary tea
was set for June 6, at Huron-
view.
