To the surprise of the judge,
three members of one household
topped the regular 4-H dairy
calf showmanship competition.
Barbara Bray was showing a
Holstein calf; her brothers,
Charles and Donald, were each
showing an Ayrshire: Not until
after 'he had placed Charles,
Donald, and Barbara, in that
order, at the top of the class of
16 competitors with dairy calves,
did the judge learn that there
are two purebred herds on the
Bray farm, and that the three
calves an came from the satrt
stable.
Heavy horse exhibitors who
helped put on a show for horse-
lovers were Alvin Taylor, Grand
Valley; Don MacAdatt, Wing-
ham; Charles Halliday, Chesley;
Walter Forster, Riply; John
Fitch, Wroxeter; Glen' Johnston,
Gerrie; McCutchoan Bros., Rock-

The Fair Wounds was a baby
