stalk of the cactus has four (or
pehaps more by now), beautiful
orange red blooms, The large cupped
flowers are formed of slennder
pointed petals centred with a
cluster of dainty light colored
stamens. 'When the blooms are out
the plant exudes a honey-like .seb.
stance and heavy perfume, The
plant had eight blooms, out or in bud,
at the time of writing, and shows
promise of more,
