The first meeting of the Dairy
Calf Club was held at the farm of
;Ross Pope, Lot 21, Con. 11, of Grey
Township.
Tke meeting was opened by all
members repeating their 4-1T pledge
which was followed by roll call. 14
members were present
After the business section of the)
meeting Mr. Chamberlain, the salt-
mer assistant for 'Inron took charge ,
and two films on Dairy Cattle were
shown bringing otat interesting
pOillte. A short Cilaix renewed.
The meeting over, Mrs. Pope '
served a delicious tanch which
was enjoyed by all.

wall, and each grandmother was
presented with a • corsage. Mrs.
Mac McIntosh gave a reading on
. "Grandma's Wood Stove". Prizes
were presented to Mrs, James
Bremner -for being the oldest grand-
mother; Mrs, Allan Smith for
bawling the most grandchildren, Mrs.
Helnistra for the straightest seams,
and Mrs. Leslie Lake for the big-
gest feet. Miss Myrtle Locking • con-
ducted a contest.
The next meeting will be at the
• home of Mrs. Leslie Lake.

of Knox Presbyterian church, The
leader was ,Mrs, John Perrie and

scripture reading. Mss. Dick Brad-
shaw led in prayer. The business
period was conducted by the pres-
ident, mrs. Stanley Fischer. The roll

about a bird. Ten were in attend-
ance. Mrs Alex Steles offered her
