McDonald A Mineral service was held Mon- day at ithe Tasker 'Memorial Qhapel. in Myth, for Peter Alexander McDonald, who died Thursday even- ing in Clinton Public Hospital, where he had been a patient for 'the past two weeks. Mr. McDonald had been in ill health for eight years. He was in his 74th year, a native of Walton compeennty, having been 'born on the Hullet Township bound- ary, two miles east of Blyth, a son of ;he late Malcolm McDonald and his wife, Catherine McArthur. In 1917 he married Sadie Watson of, Hallett 'and ,farMed on the boundary line until 12 years ago When, owing t' .his faleing health, they retired to Walton. • Besides his wife, ho is survived by one dalaghter, Mrs, Lorne (Vera) 13adley, Blyth; three grandsons and -ono g•randaught•ere two sister, Mrs. William (Lizzie) ,Granger, Walton and 'Mrs. Annie Ferrif of Provost, Alta.; and one brother, Colin McDonald, of the farm homestead, The funeral was in charge of Rev, N, Thomas • of 'WW.ton United. Anna Marie, sister of the bride, was the flower girl. She wore a, ilime green nyldn dress with tiny rosebuds, pin accessoKes, and carried a nosegay of yellow mums. The groom was attended by 'Gerald Lantz, A luncheon for the immediate relatives was held at the Commercial. After a wedding trip to Northern Ontario the happy couple will reside in Neusradt. As her sister's bridesmaid, Miss Lois Cook of Belgrave chose a, hal4rina length, gown of mint green flocked nylon featuring a boltuffant skirt with a shirred durMnerimnd oil matching taffeta, and matching mitts .and heedress. She carried a nosegay of pink carnations. As flowergirl, Janet Paton, Moss- ley, neice of the bride, wore a pink Iheadress and she carried a basket! of pink and white ehrysanthemums, The best man was Char/es littIrnbull of Brussels. The church parlours were dec- orated with baskets of white lilacs, pink tulips and baskets of white ehrysaiithemhems• for the wedding dinner whfch was served by Misses ' 'Joan Bi•ydeS, Manlene McKenzie and Shirley Hills.
