autumn rose and sky blue respect-
ively. Th e bouffant skirts were
waltz-length and the shirred bodice
featured short sleeves and cum-

Linda. McLean, watt!. a similarly
styled dress in autumn rose. Harvey

zories, grey barg jacket and a red
rose corsage.
COLOURFUL SCHOOL PARADE
Students and teachers, represent-
ing 17 schools, of Brussels. Morris
and Clw, participated,. as marchers,
or on floats, in a colorful parade
from Victoria Park to the Fair
grounds. The parade was headed by
the Seatorth District High School
Trumpet Band and Brussels Legion
Pipe Band. An added feature of the
parade this year was the inclusion
of the newly formed 4.11 Tractor
Club members aboard their tractors.

•Mrs. Henrietta Beirnes, 81, died in
Grey Township on Monday, following
a short illness. Death was attributed
to a heart ailment.
Born on July 23, 1878 in Grey
Townshin, she was a daughter of the
late William Pawson and his, wife,
the ha° Catharine Gordan. On. April
15, 1936 at IVIoleswanth she married
William F. Beirnes. He predeceased
her in September 1056. She was a
member of St. Andrews Presbyterian
Church in Moleswortth.
Surviving are two sons, Leotard
Hudson of Englefeld, Sask„ and
Charles of Listowel; three daughters
Mrs. Alvistin (Eva) Martin, Wallace
Township; Mrs. S. (Lilia) Barites.
Grey Townshiip, Mrs. Arthur (lea
hells.) Hewitt, and Mrs. I. 0, (Jean)
Connelly, both of Grey TownShip,22
grandchildren and 24 great grand-
children.
