The meeting opened with Call to Wor- ship by the president, Mrs. M. Den- nis, followed by Hymn 20, with Mrs. H, Thomas at the piano. The Scrip- ture was given by Mrs, William Car- diff from 1st Corinthians, chapter 3, followed with prayer by Mrs. A. Arm- strong. A solo by little Dianne Turnbull, accompanied by her mother, was very much enjoyed. Mrs. R. B. Cousins reported for Christian Stewardship, and also for Supply. The president announced the North Huron Sectional meeting is to be held in Gorrie, October 22, The October meeting is in charge of .Mrs. L. Nichel and Miss Addle Cardiff. The ladies were then favor- ed with a solo by Miss Isabel Dennis, accompanied by Mrs. H. Thomas. The guest speaker for the meeting, .Mrs. 0. Struthers, of Wingham, was then introduced by the president. Mrs. Struthers opened her message with a short prayer and then based her sub- ject on "Quest and Question." Mrs. Struthers came to us well recom- mended, and certainly those who heard here were not disappointed. Mrs. J. Turnbull thanked the speak- er for a very inspiring and touching. message. Hymn 358, prayer and bene- diction by the president brought this portion of the meeting to a close. The associate, members, convened by Mrs. A. Armstrong, Mrs. William Cardiff and Mrs. Albert Cardiff, had charge of the meeting and served a lovely lunch..
