Mr. and Mrs. Allister Bird left on
Sunday for a trip (to California
where they • intend visiting Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Campbell.
Everyone is welcome to the
Christmas Tree and Concert in the
Community Centre. on Friday, Dec.
.19th. A collection will be taken at
the doer to help defray expenses.
A benefit dance was held in the
Community Centre -on Monday even-
ing for Mr. amid Mrs. Wm. Bremner
and family who lost their home by I
fire recently. Over six hundred
dollarsshas been donated to this fund.
Mr. and Mrs. Bremner and their six
children are taking up residence
in the ;house across the road,
formerly occupied by the Evans
family.
Mrs 'James Bremner had the
ntisfartuno to fall on. Tuesday
morning, fracturing her knee. She
is a patient in the Meow& Hospital.
