Alta., Hugh of Barrie, Ross, of St,
Catberines and live grandchildren
also survive. The body rested at
the Butler Funeral Home, 33 Duke St.
Service was held in the Chapel on
on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
with interment in Victoria Lawn

COUPLE HONORED
Recently the Ethel Community
Centre was the scene of a large
gathering when 'approximately four
hundred friends and neighbours
gathered to honor Mr, and Mrs.
Harvey Clarke (nee Margaret
Conley) on their recent marriage.
At lunch time Harvey and Mar-
gait were called to the platform and
Miss Dorothy Mills read an address
expressing ‘the esteem and affection
with, which 'the couple are regarded
in the community and good wishes
for their retire.
iThe guests of honor were pre..
sented with a lovely space saver,
china cabinet, a rack of TV snack
tables and a purse of money.
Both the bride and groom thank-
ed their friends very fittingly and
invited everyone to visit them at
their convenience,
The remainder of the evening was
spent in dancing.
The Annual Hallowe'en frolic for ,
the chil.dren of the community was
held on Friday erenj.D,g, Oct, 31st, in
the Town Hall, sponsored by the
RrusSels Lions Club.
