A special meeting of the Brussels
Public School Board was held en
above date, re the settling of Mts.
Galbraith's teaching terra and Mr.
Ashton's return,
It was moved by Roy Kennedy and
seconded by Ray Bronson, the sal-
ary as first set be amended and she
be given $300 as a month's payment
for her work, from Sept, 3 to Sent,
13; also that Mr. Ashton's salary for
the remainder of the month be the
difference between the amount paid
Mrs. Galbraith and his regular sal-4
ary. Carried.
There being no further business, the
meeting adjourned.

above date, all members present. "
Minutes were read and adopted on
motion by Roy Kennedy and Aleatielio,

The following accounts were pres-
ented: Jack Hood, school supplies,
$201.79; R. Kennedy, $10.00; Gestet-
tier, $6.80; Harriston Broom, $17.80.
Moved by L. Ebel and seconded by
R. Bronson, these accounts be paid.
Carried.
Moved by Ray Bronson and. L.
Ebel, Secretary advises all parents
outside town limits that school fees
are now due and payable, This in-
eludes all living outside of town and
owning property in town if assess-
ment on same is less than $1,000.

Moved by G. Stephenson and sec-

son be engaged to police school on
Hallowe'en night. Carried,
Property committee was instructed
to again contact outside contractors
for repair estimates,

was witch (pardon me, who was
whldh) and vica versa, Around
10 pan. the judges were called to
the platform to` perform the diffi-
cult duty of judging the costumes,
and there were some dandies, as an
undressed eye witness (that is un,
"dressed costume wise) it looked
doggonod tough. These were the
