The January meeting.of the Ladies
Auxiliary to the Canadian Legion
'No. 218 was held in their rooms on
January-3rd, with .a good attendance.
The meeting was evened by the
singing of "0 Canada' al"d repeating
the Lord's Prayer with Chet president
Mts. K.Duncan in the chair.
The secretary's and treasurer' re-
ports were read and. adopted, .
Two applications were accleoted
for membeimhip.
Correspondence was read with
acknowledgement of recent donations
made, to The- United Nations Child-
ren's Fund, Legion Christmas Fund.
The Children's Memorial Hospital,
Our .adonted Veteran in Westminster
HOspital and the Christmas Sen.ls.
- The ancounta were presented.
Report of the auditors was given
by les, P. Shaw.
Tiel*.t of the barn dance which
was held in the Town Hall on
December 32nd. was given.. The
ticket for the Christmas Cake was
, drawn and Ron Smith_ of Grey was
holding the quay ticket.
It was -decided to hold 2 euchre
parties 'in the .auxiliary rooms on
January 16th. and 20th. Everyone
is invited to these parties. •
Members Were reminded by the
president that the roll can at the
February meeting will be answered
'by the . name of . our Sunshine
Sister of 1956. New names will be
drawn at this . meeting.
The Sunshine Conimittee report

Arranger-lents were made, in
preparation, for lunch booths to be
