He was born near Walton 91 years ago; the eon of a family of eervieh. Stirvireihg, is one briother Robert of Seaforth with whom he made his home the last 'four year.s, and one sister (Janet) Mrs, Wm. Shorteed of Clinton. He was Married in 1901 to Eliza- beth Melon who pre-deceased him 14 yeas ago. An only daughter, Anna aim Tre_deceascl him.
