MR. AND MRS. W. J. MOMURRAY
CELEBRATE 50th. ANNIVERSARY
Fifty Years of Married life were•
celebrated by Mr, and 'Mrs, William
Joseph AlcAinrrty at their home to
Brussels on Wednesday of last week,
They have lived in Brussels for the
past eight years. Previous to that
they farmed on the 4th, concession
of Morris. ,township, on the farm
where 'they began their .married life.
They were married at the home
of the bride's parents in Wawanosh.

The monster parade of- school
children in. costume, and floats,
will leave- the park at 1 o'clock

"Brussels Legion Pipe Band and the
Lions 'Boys and .Girls land. The fair
will be officially opened at 2 o'clock
by O. D. Graham, Dep. Minster of
Agriculture' for Ontario.

Friday night the Fall Pair Concert

Mr. Breckenridge was attempting
to put out the names on a tractor
owned by Sperling Johnston, on
the first line 'of Morris, when the
gasoline tank exploded, igniting his
,clothing and sengeina his hair. He
was not serioesly 'burned.
Flames on his clothing Were ex-
tinguished with a fire extingdisher
carried on the tractor.

knitted articles and used clothing.
Mrs. Daniel littether read a let
ter from Mrs. James' Dickson,
missionary who has, established and
runs a boarding school for orphan
boys' in Formosa. Mrs. H. T. Colvin
reviewed a chapter of 'the ,study

closed the meeting.

line tank, then started the, tractor:
Apparently the overflowing 4gaso-
line from the tank ignited.
The machine was heavily damag-
ed by the flames. Mr. Breckenridge
had gone (to •assist his neighbour,
Mr. Johnston.
