Chosen as the "Theme', for the
'service Was "Pat ha To Glory,"
In the eentre steed the Croas to
represent Jesus and the Crown to
represent GlOry, On one side {and
leading to the Cross was the "Path
of Kindness" represented by a ball,
bat, and crutch, on the other side
was the "Path of Faith" represented
by an umbrella, On each side of rile
Crown was a ladder to represent
"Honesty", All symbols were out_
lined in flowers And evergreen,
Beautiful floral baskets 'decorated the
front •of the church as well as the
windows and vestibule.
TheSe Paths Of Life were pre..
sainted in story and poem by several
members of the congregation, The
story of Kindness by Mrs. K. TYer-
Man, the poem "Faith" by Mrs. *3,
Turnbuull; the story of Honesty by
Miss Joan Thomas. Rev. A. Lane
spoke of Jesus, His Death and Res.,
urection to Glory.
During the service the Sunday
School Choir sang two anthems. The
Primary classes also sang. David
Kennedy, accompanied by Miss
Marion Hemingway at the Piano,
played two saxophone soloa Miss
Agnes Lane read a poem. A triple
trio: Patsy Bryans, Rochelle Willa.

Exel, Tens Zwaan and Karen Cole,
Than sang,
The evening service was taken by
the Young Peoples Society. Mr.
Donlyn Hemingway !hold charge of
the service. The choir of Young
People sang two anthems. A solo was
beautifully Tendered by Mr. Brian.
Prescott.
Mr. Kenmetth Ashton, Clinton, a
candidate for the ministry, was guest
speaker at the evening service.

John Krauter
Mr, John Krauter passed avey in
the Listowel Memorial Hospital 4311
May 18th. in his 77th, year,
He was the son, Of the late 'Jacob
Kreuter and his wife Margaret
Huether, being the last member of
his family. He was born on the lath,
.concession of Grey and had farmed}
there with•hia father until 1906,
when he moved to Ethel where he
operated a hardware store until 1918.
He 'alas assessor of Grey Township
fo 27 years retiring in 1948. He was
a member of St. John's Lodge, A. F.
and A. M, No. 284 and of Knox Pres'
terian, Church, Ethel,
He Was married in 19124 to Min.

with two daughters, Edythe (Mrs.
Cardiff) of Ethel, Muriel (Mrs. D.
Wilson) of Otitaola, •three tiong,
Calvin and Garden of Barssels
and Kenneth of Ottawa. Also 12
grandchildren.
The funeral was held from Knox
Church, Ethel on Monday, May 21
at '2 p, in., where service was con_
ducted by the minister, Mr. C. L.
ThoMpson, assisted by Rev. W.. A.
Williams. Mr. Ross Cunningham
sang, "Beyond the Sunset."
pallbearers were Welland Kratiter,
Russell Krauter, Albert Kmanter,
Emerson Krauter, Percy Clark, and
Wni. Campbell.
Flowers Bearers were Ronald
Cardiff, David Krauter, Edwin
Knitter, Sharon 'Cardiff, Jane
Kreuter and Marion Farrier,
Internment took place in Mount
Pleasant cehietery nailer the direct_
ion of the Masonic Lodge.
