BY BANK STAFF
On Thunsday afternoon the staff
of The Canadian Bank Of Commerce
held a staff meeting to bid farewell
to Miss Jean Steiss who is to be
married this, month,
Miss Steiss was presented with
an Electric Tea Kettle for Which she
thanked them most graciously.
Miss St'elss has been on the staff
of the Canadian Bank of Commerce
for two years,
SHOWER FOR BRIDE ELECT
A shower was held at the home
of Miss Joyce Thomas on Monday
evening, July 18, when friends and
,reitatives. gathered to honor Bliss
Jean Steins brideto-be of this
month. The bride elect sat in a
gayly decorated chair topped 'with
streamers suspended over the chair.
Mists Joyce Thomas read the add-
ress and the gifts were presented by
Mines Aileen neither and Joyce
:Johnston. Miss Stoics made as appro•
prate reply, The remainder of the
evening was spent playing games.
