Brussels Lose To Harriston
The Brussels Jr., girls .softball
team, in 4-ri early game last Monlay•i
night, were defeated by the leading I .
Harries ton team in a, very close 19.18
game. 'Errors proved costly to both
teams:
Throughout. the game, the score
sea-sawed beck and forth in, favor
of each team. At one time, Bruseels
were eight Tune behind, hut breeched
1 the gap 'and were once, more in the
lead. In a late, inning rally Harris=
ton scored ,egainleut were believed to .11
still be behind by one rune by the
fans and the home team both, At the
end of the game -olase examin-
ation of the score card it was dis-
covered that Hateleton was. ahead by
one. The mix-up was caused by :
poor storekeeping.
I Wald also like to add that the
game 'was one of the longest on re-
cord for a Junior team, as it took
3 hours end 10 min,ute.1.-

of $65. The Sunday Schools of the
town have underwritten the Bible
School so they will be making up
the difference. There may be some
of you reading this report who would
like to mike a contribution toward
paying Off this $65. You may hand
your donation either to your minister
or Sunday School supeeintendant.
This has been a most gratifying
school to work in. The children came
out regularly and the attendance
increased ;steadily until we had over
a hundred and sixty for the last four
days, of the second week.
Every effort was made on behalf of
the teachers to train your children
in an effective and interestng way.
Many of the children learned a good,
deal of memory work. The teachers
tried to show the children the Bible
Way of salvation and urged upon
them the need of making their decis-
ion for Christ in the early part of life
that they might live the-rest of their
days working and labouring for their '
Master Jeseee rflerist.
We appreciate the co-operation of
the people of Brussels in backing up
the work that we endeavoured to do.
Special thanks is due to the Lions
Club of Bruseele for providing milk
ter the children of the lower grades.
It is honed that we shall be able
to har.vo another Bible School next
year that will prove as good as this
one proved :0 be.
As director of the Bible School may
I say thanks to all who have made °
this a most ,suacesstul school,
