meeting inithe church basement, Mar,
16th. with a vory good attendance
considering the very stormy evening,

player. Mr. Ellis gave the ladies a
report on the recent Board of Mana-
gers! meeting.
The secretary's repent was read by
Jean Workman, Because of the treas.
sarer's absence that report could not
be given but 'the members felt that
the pancake supper had been 'vely
successful.
The Sunshine report was read by
the/secretary. A number of get-well
earls had been ,sent during the Past
month.
'Malik you notes received were
read to ,the mlambers.
The dues were collected also the
pennies for the Sunshine box, Pur-
chase of doors for some of the kitch-
en cupboards waist disioussed but
decided to leave to a later date.
The date of the annual bazar was
.edt for Sal. Nov. 12. Members are to
bring an article each monith for the
bazar if possible.
'President Alberta Smith closed
the meeting with prayer.
A delicious lunch was served by
Mrs, Annie Thynne, Mrs, Isabel Al-
cock and. Mrs. Raymond.
The March supper Meeting of the
local Lions Club was held in the
library 011 Monday evening of this
week.

Band 'committee reported that eight
new members ,head joined the band.
Lion R. Walker reported the re-
ceipt of $280, in the Easter Seal
Campaign.
Lipn Donald Dunbar, convenor of
the committee in charge of the an-
nual Ladies Night, to be held in
'Cranbnook Community Hall on Mon
day, April nth, gave an account of
preparations being made :for it..
Lion A. Wood reported on the Pea-
nut Drive being arranged for some-
time in May.*

Beverley Evans. The next meeting
will he held at the home of Mrs,
Mac Engel when plans for the Af-
filiation 'Service will be completed.
