The following is an account of the
Open House held at the. Bluevale
School on Tuesday, Mar.8th.
The pupils of Bluevale School were
very busy Tuesday, March '8th. as
each person busied him or herself
at their own special task. Some were
'ushers, Some were display men and
some were clerks for the 21071qt-tire
store which 'was set up in one corner
of the school

Mr. Joseph Henry Smith died cud-
deafly at his home in IVIolesworth, ca
.March 4th. He had been In poor
health for .some years. he was in his
60th year.
Ho 'was born in Deloraline,
toba, and moved with his family to ,
Grey Township, afterwards farming)
In Morris Township. He married
Florence Kearney, of MOrris and
they lived in-Bluevale for over 20
reams. They moved to Moleswortit
in 1984.
Surviving are his wife, two sons,
Wilmer and Mac, alt of Molesworth,
one -datmliter, Mrs, W. H. Myers, of
Toronto, one sister, Mrs Francis
Duncan, of Brussels, and two grand.

The funeral service was held at
the D. A. Bann funeral home in.
Brussels, en Monday afternoon. Rev.
R. A. Brook of. Bluevale United
Church conducting the .servire. In-
terment was made in Brussels cent-
