Wingham man is
HPRCSS vice chairman
Trustee John O'Leary of RR2 Staffa was
elected chairman of the Huron-Perth County
Roman Catholic Separate School Board at its
inaugural meeting at Dublin Monday. He is a
six-year veteran of the board, who served as
chairman of its finance committee this year.
Keith Montgomery of Wingham was
acclaimed to the position of vice-chairman, .
and had been chairman of the board's billing

party of the C.W.L. of St.
Ainbrose parish was held on
Dec. 8 and each member
brought their husband or a
lovely Christmas Songs with
Larke McDonald accompany-
ing them at the piano and

Stephenson read a short
peom "A Christmas Gift":
Everyone then joined in sing-
ing "Come Thou Almighty
King", followed by a reading
"Real Christmas" which was
written by Pat Boone, and..
read by Betty Graber. Nora
gave secretary and treasur-
er's reports. Items discussed
were Christmas remem-
brance to a sick member and
plans for the January meeting
to be held at the home of
Sarah Stephenson. -
The members were re-
minded of the Rebekah

championships
at Huffy .Gtilly
The 1982 Canadian Nation-
al Schoolboy Motocross
Championship will be.hosted
by Hully Gully Sports and
Recreation at R.R. 1 Varna
July 31 and Aug. 1. Last year
the championship was held in
Calgary, the year before that
at Quebec, and. the year
before that in Manitoba.
Hully Gully will also host
the Huron Cup snowmobile
races Jan. 30 and 31. It will be
the first time in four years the
Cup has been contested for.
The event was held in 1974,
75 and 76.
