Wardlaw, a life long resident
of Ethel.

Mrs. George Hiemstra for a
pot luck dinner. •

and the Ethel 4-H Club
leaders were guests at the
Ethel Women's Institute
Christmas dinner.
After everyone was suffi-
ciently stuffed with an assort-
ment of Christmas fare, Mrs.
William Cossitt gave a dem-
onstration on egg shell dec-
°ratio.: for your Christmas
tree. Duck, chicken and goose
and pigeon eggs are used as
ornaments, jewellery boxes
and many other articles can
be constructed. Mrs. Cossitt
was thanked and given a gift
by Mrs. James McMahon.
Following the demonstra-
tion a short business meeting
was cconducted to pay all the
bills that had been presented
to finalize the preparations
for the Lamont dinner being
catered to on December-12.
Naming a Canadian city
beginning with your initial
was the roll call and all
provinces were well repre-
sented from Halifax to Saska-
toon being named.

Obituary Robertson
MARY LUELLA wARDLAw family has
party Mrs. Mary Luella 'VVardlaw
of Ethel, the former Mary I
Luella Henry and widow of the
late. Dr. Douglas Wardlaw
died in Listowel Memorial.
Hospital on Friday,
December 11. She was in'her
89th year.
Surviving, are a daughter-
in-law Edith Wardlaw of
Brantford, two grandchildren
Susan of Kitchener and Carol
(Mrs. Benny Crabchick) of
Brantford and one great
grand-daughter.
She was predeceased by
One daughter and one son.
A private family service
and commital was held Tues-
day at the Peebles Funeral
Home, John St. in, Atwood.
Burial was in Mount Pleasant
Cemetery, Ethel.
A Christmas get together
of the Robertsons was held on
Sunday at the home of Mr.
