NURSERY RHYMES The kindergarten class
of .Brussels Public school dressed up as
different nursery rhyme characters and recited
poems as they represented the month of
February at the Christmas concert held at the
school on Monday night.

The December meeting of
the CranbrookW.I. was held
December 3 at the home of
Mrs. Jack Conley, with 1.6
members present and two
guests.
Mrs. Donald Perrie,
Convenor for Families and
Consumer affairs conducted a
group discussion about
family life-styles following a
contest and a few smiles.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Charles Terpstra and Mrs.'
Fred Smith. January will be a
holiday month with the next
meeting on February 4, 1982.
This will be a. potluck dinner
at the hall at 12:30. All ladies
from the community will be
welcome.

It was suggested that we
take our Record and Glad
Tidings to a nursing home or
hospital.' For roll call, each
.member contributed a
Christmas poem or reading.
Carols' "Silent Night", "It'
came upon • the midnight
clear," "The First Noel'',
"Once in Royal Davids' City"
and "0 come all ye faithful "
were sung. All repeated the
Mizpah , Benediction in
closing.
There were 16 tables
playing at the Forester's Card
party on Friday night. Those
who won prizes were: High
Lady - Mrs. Morris Honey-
ford, low lady, Isabelle
Bremner, highrnan - Lloyd.
Smith, low man - Earl Dunn,
lone hands - Donna Hart, lady
playing as a 'man - Shirley
Verstoep, doupie married

tural Society, officers and
directors met in the library.
The treasurer gave a finan-
cial report of the year's
expenses. It Was accepted
and seconded.
It was decided to charge $6
per plate for our annual

delegates to go to the conven-
tion in February.

Listowel, on Wed., Dec. 9.

with a Christmas message.

of Bethlehem' 'Were sung with
Mrs. Leslie knight, leading.
