Babies baptized at Duff's Walton

Rev. Charles A. Swan was
in charge of Worship Service
on Sunday morning at Duff's
United Church, Mrs. Joyce
Van Vliet greeted at the door.
Mrs. Marjorie Humphries
was organist. Ushers were
Terry Smith, Lavern Godkin
and Bruce Godkin.
The Sacrament of Baptism
was held when Bruce Clark
made the presentation of
parents whose children were
baptized, Janice Marie
McCallum, daughter of Ron
and Betty McCallum and
James Earl William Emm-
rich, son of Clint and Judy
Rose-Ann Emmrich.
This being the first Sunday
in Advent, Rev. Swan lit the
candle which Jesus is the
light of the world. The first
Sunday in Advent is the
meaning of expectation, we
are looking forward to the
birth of Christ. The sermon
on "Belief" is the first in a
series on the Apostles when
the basic principles of the
Christian Faith will be ex-
plored.
A special offering was
taken for Emmanuel College.
Next Sunday morning the
Sacrament of Communion, in
the evening the Unified
Board meeting hosted by Mr.
and Mrs. Herb Traviss, Bible
Study Wednesday morning,
hostess Mrs. Margery Hue-
ther. Sunday, Dec. 13, con-
cert and White Gift service at
8:00 p.m.

The Sacrament of Holy
Communion will be observed

The Grey Township Fire-
man's Banquet was catered
to be the Molesworth ladies
on Saturday evening, Nov.
28. Grey Township Council,
former firemen and their
wives also attended. Ron
McLean was presented with
an engraved trophy in recog-
nition of 25 years of service.
Keith Koetsier has replaced
him on the Fire Dept. Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Stephenson and
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bis-
hop were in charge of a
program, following which,
Charles A. Swan, Walton.
Mr. Charles. Murray was
hospitalized last week at

visited for a few days with
