Brussels Friendship Club
met in the Legion hall,
Wednesday, Nova 18 with a
good turnout.
The meeting opened with
Lulu Kerr at the piano, The
minutes of the last meeting
were read by secretary Doris
Hooper. Laura Lucas gave the
tina;cial report.
The program committee for
December were named and
this meeting Will stark with a
turkey dinner beginning at
12:30.
Mrs. Van Vliet 'favoured
with several solos with Lulu
playing. The club is very
fortunate to have a talented
lady like her in the group.

November is Remem-
brance month so Hazel Math-
eson read two old poems,
"Lest we forget" and "In
Flanders Fields" which were
very appropriate.
Eucrue prize winners were:
High Lady-Marie Burgess,
High Gent-Ruby Steiss play-
ing as man, low lady-Jennie
Turnbull, Low gent-Mrs. Van.
Yliet playing as a man.
Prize for having most
grandchildren, Mrs. Van
Vliet.
